What is the normal procedure of giving the wedding gift? The gift is cash. Do you call to the house a week or 2 beforehand? Give it the day of the wedding?

People mostly put it in the card and give to the best man/person. Some Weddings seem to do this post box thing now. If you're not sure then dropping it to the house in a card beforehand I'm sure it wouldn't be an issue. Cards and cash have gone missing in the past.

If you live nearby it might be safer to call a few days beforehand.

Calling in after is also grand, it's nice to have a catch up with the Bride and Groom!

    Just not immediately after!
