CV format in Ireland

Hello. My boyfriend and I are both going to move to Ireland at the end of August. I will be studying in Limerick and hopefully work part time and he is going to be looking for a job. We were both wondering what the standard format for a CV is in Ireland (for eg. I am currently in Belgium and I have been told to create a CV myself and *not* to use the Europass format). Is Europass regarded as standard in IE or not? Would love some pointers.

I've seen Europass being used by European applicants for jobs, but it's not common. I don't think that Irish employers are particularly rigid about the format.

Europass would be fine, or any of these would be fine:

It's not standard here, but I agree that it'd be fine - certainly as clear as most formats I've been sent. The templates here look pretty standard to me - at least the first 2 pages; I thought they generally had a left sidebar, photo etc.
