    Every month we run free camping weekends as a way to meet new friends and try and encourage people to get outside.

    This month we arranged a camping trip to Ennerreilly Beach in County Wicklow. As the weather was great we cut the tour of Wicklow short and more or less headed straight to the beach where we camped out for several days.

    Normally people all drive some kind of Land Rover, Jeep, Toyota or other 4x4. One of our members turned up with a VW Syncro Camper and we thought there would be absolutely no chance they would make it across the very soft sand.

    Here is a video showing exactly how they got on.

    While we are here, Donegal Overlanding is not a business, its just a facebook group with a youtube channel. Everything we do is at no cost and its all arranged in our personal free time. We got stung by youtube changing rules meaning we are trying very hard to get to 1000 subscribers.
