I'm giving a months notice at my current job. Our holiday year goes from September to August. My working week is Monday to Friday. In the months notice I'm going to have 13 holidays that I had booked off previously. Can annual leave be counted in your notice period as I have worked the full year by the time August come around?

Generally, annual leave is at your employer's consent.

This sounds like one of those situations where you should chat to your manager.

For example, if they need you to train in your replacement, it would be reasonable of them to ask you to cancel the annual leave.

But if it doesn't really matter if you're there or not (i.e. the work can be done later) then I would think they can accomadate you.
