    Hi all

Looking for some clarification for my tax requirements for renting a property. I have rented my property out since I moved seven years ago. I always filled out a form 11 and declared my rental income and paid tax accordingly. I have now gone to buy a new property with my wife and the bank requested a form 12 from the last three years showing I have paid my tax liability for renting. So should I have been also doing a form 12 as well as a from 11?

No. A from 12 is the same as a from 11 except it's for minor non PAYE income.

Just give the bank your from 11 instead.
