Small Wedding Venues in the South East

    Hi all,

I am looking to have a small wedding in the South East, max of 50 guests. We are looking to go away from the traditional wedding of church and big hotel afters, and instead have something a little more chilled out and relaxed. Looking for good food and drink to relax and enjoy the day and not have the stress of what seems to go with a typical wedding. We don't have a massive budget and a lot of the venues that cater to smaller weddings seem to carry an exclusive price tag. Any suggestions for somewhere that's alternative to the norm but doesn't carry a hefty price? Thanks :)

    What about Dunmore East?

    A beautiful little spot.

I know the Strand and the Heaven have hosted Weddings.

    Both recently done up.

We got married at Roundwood House in Laois and it was fabulous. They only do a few weddings a year and pretty sure 50 is their absolute maximum so you won't be paying for a smaller number than usual guests. Was the most relaxed day ever and cannot recommend them enough!

Not quite South East though, but I thought might be an option anyways!

My friend had a wedding for 15 people in the River Bank House Hotel in Wexford Town
She also priced Clayton Whites Hotel.
I had my own in Clayton Whites Hotel and they were sooooo good to deal with. I had 83 people though... but they do cater for smaller parties

I heard of a wedding recently in Riverside Park Hotel in Enniscorthy at which I think they had 50-60 people. I think they have a small function room just for this type of event. If it is anything like their main room, it would be stunning.

    The Heritage Park.

Yes, I'm being serious. I know a couple who had a small family wedding there, it was a huge success apparently.
