Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Irish Casino Licenses

    Hi guys,

Quick one for you on Irish casinos, I know that technically they are illegal to have them open to the public so they get around this by having them as private members clubs which allow them to operate but I had two questions I hope you could help with.

    1. If they are private members clubs do they need a gambling license?
    2. Can this approach be used for online sites? An example would be a betting platform with users become members for a small fee (in return for commission free betting) which then eliminates the need for a license for the operator removing a very large expense from the overheads.
