Lead pipe replacement

Hello,

I applied in February for the lead pipe from the mains to the boundary wall of my house to be replaced. My plumber has done all the private side.

I rang in April to see if any progress had been made on getting this organised. I was told I was on the list but the customer service agent couldn't tell me how long the list was or when I could expect it to be done.

It's now five months since I applied and I've still heard nothing. My front garden has been dug up for 5 months. There's a sheet of plywood precariously balanced over the hole that I'm worried someone will injure themselves on and I'll be liable.

Can you give me any indication of how much longer this might take please? I'm based in Dublin City. I'm not looking for a grant. I'd be happy to pay to get it done privately, but I believe that's not an option.
