    0766042779
    0766805769
    016859752

the numbers are all the same people.

ive gotten at least half a dozen calls and this morning i told them again in no uncertain terms to take my number off the list and dont effing call me again.
i hung up and 3 seconds later the phone rang again and the guy said ill effing call you every day.i just laughed and hung up.
i have blocked the numbers but im sure they can easily change to another one

I just need your credit card number sir!

EDIT: Serious non-AH answer - block the numbers, report them to your service provider.

There are some good videos on YouTube where guys waste their time and pretend to play along.

I don’t really know why they would keep calling the same number though. Do they think if they keep calling people will just pay them to stop? Or is it one of those scams where the OP will pay the bill for all the calls?

It's just a number on a list to them.

Those "boiler room" scams tend to come in waves, you'd get a few calls over a fortnight and then nothing for ages. The last one to call was 2 weekends ago.
I strung them along for about 10 minutes, I don't think they genuinely understood I was winding them up. In the end I got bored and hung up.
But I had my fun and that's all that matters.

If you can, you should answer them

Then start a conversation with them about how your aunt in her 50's has this weird growth on her foot and your wounder what she should do etc about it.

Pretty much waste their time back

When the calls about fixing laptops were doing the rounds a few years ago, which as far as I remember would give the caller access to your computer or some such, they rang my elderly mum.
She was very diligent & said yes she had a computer so the caller went into detail as to what she might do but she said she hadn't heard him very well & she might forget anyway so would he go through it all again while she wrote it all down.
After being on the phone for over an hour, he suggested that they might now progress to actually doing the procedure on her laptop.
It was then she informed him that she hadn't actually got one but her son in law had & she'd be delighted to pass it all on to help him the following day...

    She got no more calls.
