    Stuck on red?

Did you load up the wrong firmware or something?

The device is probably bricked. You will need an A-A USB cable, a windows machine, the USB Burning software from Amlogic and a paper clip.

open the box, plug in the USB cable to X96 and PC ... also plug in the power on the X96.

Take your paper clip and on the SoC chip, short each adjacent pair of pins starting at the bottom right.. i think its the 3rd or 4th pair on the right hand side of the chip... IIRC a blue LED will flash on the board and you are back in business. It sounds tricky, but it is very straight forward and will only take 5 minutes once you have an A-A USB cable...

you may need to flash the firmware again .. use the Amlogic software to do this .. and contact your seller to get the correct firmware ..

    good luck

Sorry was in a rush an panicking, stuck on red light

I was putting a rom on it from the sd card, done it before and nothing like this happened. Using Libreelec and Openelec daily

    I don't have a A-A cable unfortunately

Thanks for the reply and advice, i may end up cutting my losses and getting a fire stick or something cheap enough. This box was 20 odd so cant really complain
