It could be pretty good - decent enough premise, so hopefully the execution will be done right.

Sounds alright. I'll give it a try. He had to move onto something like that where he is playing a character role but still keeping his own humour and not acting as a reality of himself. He is naturally very funny but I felt it was starting to come across as staged anyway so an obvious scripted comedy series might be good.

Starts on September 27th, but Karl does his best here to warn you that you probably won't like it !

I watched the first two eps last night, the first one was good with elements of the Laurel & Hardy classic The Music Box in it! The second was a bit draggy!

It's not great, it just feels stale. He was funny and people could resenate with him on Ricky Gervais' podcast but now he just seems bitter, angry and a bit preachy.

I'm not sure about it. The first episode was better then the second one though.

Has grown on me a bit, still not great but watchable. Think it would work better without inner Karl though

I liked the episode about the aunt looking into her past, it had a lot going on. Karl did say in an interview that he wanted to ditch the inner voice thing when they were filming it because it was difficult to put together but I suppose it's the whole premise of it really.

I liked the episode where he went away on his holiday as inner Karl wasn't as much involved but the episode with the screaming baby..I had to turn it off after 15 minutes

I've enjoyed what I've seen so far, there's lots of great bits in every episode. Episode 3 and especially episode 4 have been really good. I'll watch the rest over the weekend. But overall I think its been a good effort from Karl and its a lot better then most new shows you see that come from more experienced writers. Delighted he's had a go at something new.
