I see a lot about the current fires in the Slieve Blooms but where are they exactly?

    This too shall pass.

At the moment I think the fires are east of Kinnitty more towards Clonaslee. The road from clonaslee to Mountrath (also from Kinnitty village is closed. I’m only going on what I read in the media. I haven’t actually been up there this week. Was planning on tomorrow for a walk but I’m not now. Best to give it a week or so to settle down in my opinion anyway. But I do think Kinnitty Forest should be ok.
