oneplus 6 with Tesco prepay sim

    i can't be the only one?

    i just can't get mobile data working on my oneplus 6 with a prepay Tesco sim.

    the sim worked fine in my Nexus 5x.

    i forgot to write down the apn settings, but I've tried all kind of apn settings i found online, but none works.

    Any suggestions?

    in case some else with a oneplu 6 is having the same issues, i'll x-post my post from the tesco mobile subforum:
    i got it working!

    went to the following website:

    http://tescomobileie.tweakker.com/choose/1+

    this website is mentioned in a Tesco support article.

    choose the oneplus 5 from the list as the oneplus 6 isn't listed yet.

    the settings:
    Internet
    Enter the main menu.
    Scroll to and select Settings.
    Scroll to and select SIM & network and SIM 1 or SIM 2.
    Scroll to and select Access Point Names.
    Press the + icon.
    Scroll to and select Name and enter Internet.
    Press OK.
    Scroll to and select APN and enter Tescomobile.liffeytelecom.com.
    Press OK.
    Scroll to and select APN type and enter default.
    Press OK.
    Press the Menu button and press Save.
    Scroll to and select the new profile.
    Press the Home button to return to the main screen.
    Your phone has been configured.


    this worked.
