Been sent plans of a house to measure few things on it. I always use adobe reader however this time, when i type in the 1:100 as in 1mm to 100mm when i draw around what im looking to measure, its giving me a wrong reading. whys this. I play about with th e atios with the measurements on teh plans of the outside, and its now exact 1:168 if i take it off a 5m linear measurement of something outside. Does anyone know why this is?

I'm having trouble following you. What scale were the plans drawn to?

Says on the plans 1:100 but when I set it at 1:140, that's when I get the exact measurement.
