Samsung Note 5 Charging port repair

Have a Note5, charging pin in the charging port in the actual phone has broken off and fallen out. Can’t charge phone. Told it’s a difficult repair as charging port is part of overall screen setup so there is a risk of screen damage during removal and might be left needing to replace entire screen setup at cost of €250 If…

If no screen damage then cost is €35 so that’s ok.

Is it worth trying for €35 and take the chance, how likely is it to damage the screen would anybody know?
