What is the upper age to learning to play the organ in Church?
I know it is a complex instrument
Are there classes you can take.
My back ground is that I tried to learn the piano when I was younger and learned to read music but had no interest, then now I do have an interest and the time.

    Any advice is welcome.

I feel you need a specialist's advice about the professional pathway or the age concern. If you live in Dublin, RIAM and DIT Conservatory has organ tuition in part-time within my knowledge. Griffith may have it too. Good luck.
