I bought some white paint in woodies on special offer a few months ago to use as the undercoat for the outside of the house, nearly time to start painting now but im having second thoughts.

How do people find the woodies paint? will it be ok for the wash coat before applying 2 coats of dulux/sandtex paint? I know thats all the expensive paint will be sticking to, so im worried about its durability.

Woodies paint is fine as an undercoat. It’s actually manufactured by ppg who are the worlds biggest paint manufacturer. The exterior paint in particular is much better than the interior paint, which is literally the exact same as johnstones (which is also ppg).
