I'm actually amazed nobody has spotted this so far, but here goes.

Prime delivery benefits now work in Ireland, this means that you'll either get free standard delivery, free priority delivery or if these aren't available economy on items listed as Sold & Dispatched by Amazon and many Fulfilled By amazon items (but not all FBA items) if you want them shipped to Dublin, Cork or wherever!

Obviously normal shipping restrictions apply so if the item can't ship to Ireland anyway this won't make a difference to you, but if it can and its Prime eligible then you'll get it faster and you won't pay for the standard or priority changes :D

Below is an example of what happens when you try order an Amazon Echo for delivery to Ireland when you have a Prime subscription active on your account.

Has anyone tried the 2 day priority delivery with Prime yet? Does it arrive on time?

I have tried it, and only about 20% of items have arrived on-time with one item, predicting a 3 week wait... not good! Maybe it is teething troubles though

It seems Amazon Prime is now available in Ireland!

I haven't seen any announcements but when I was checking out recently it offered me Prime again. Usually I always skip past because noticed it now specifically offers to Republic of Ireland

Get Free Two-Day Delivery to the Republic of Ireland on millions of eligible items

Unlimited deliveries to the Republic of Ireland with no minimum order size

Not everything is two day priority, items can also be just standard but you still don't pay for the delivery

Have about 5 items in my basket all prime eligible, and coming to a combined total of 45stg, yet when I go to check out 2 x of the items are costing a combined total of over 11stg for postage and packaging

Now, I've been using for a long long time, but the prime ro Ireland is still relatively new to me, but the headlines for prime do say unlimited free 2 day delivery to Ireland, so what, if anything am I doing wrong does anyone know?

I'm starting to doubt the benefits of Amazon Prime? Put in 3 separate orders today all for individual items listed as Prime and all supposed to be in stock nothing awkward or heavy. One item is supposed to arrive tomorrow which to Ireland means the day after so thats OK but the other two items are due in roughly 7 and 14 days respectively.

from my digging  prime has no effect on dispatch times just faster deliver times. I had some items that took 7-10 days to dispatch then were delivered in 2 days. seem like they were relocating the item to which ever warehouse they use to offload deliveries that are fulfilled by an post express.
I have an item too that says arriving tomorrow. then I looked at the time and say it now Monday so tomorrow is Tuesday as far as amazon is concerned
