    +1
And a lot of effort put into it.
Country side is a lot greener round there than here, weparked in the firtst carpark and there was 6 inches of lovely green grass being rolled into the ground by the cars....apparently that field was only rented in for the day......grassenvy :(

had my own mini athenry at home,

footbathed & cobalt all the lambs & about half the ewes

ran the ewe lambs through and culled 2 b1tches that were very wild and constantly trying to turn in the race ( they already had a yellow card from previous)

they will be heading for my freezer when clik withdrawal is up & no doubt there will be a couple less "fooks" in the sheep shed next spring

anything to note from athenry ?

see elsewhere the factories were spinning the usual sh1te re markets
    (nothing new there)

Just out of curiosity, what percentage of ewes that you give a yellow card to subsequently get a red a few month later? I’ve given up with the yellows and go straight red.

ewes get a straight red, these were e lambs, even getting them in they were testing the dog, all the rest are very tame, all lined up and walked down the race almost unaided

I gave a huge amount of yellow cards at lambing, and then a few more during the summer, weaned yesterday and gave a few more........if they were reds I would have half the flock gone !
