Any thoughts on this camper for sale? The ad says that it needs welding.

For €1800 asking and if 4K was put into it for welding and upgrading the toliet/shower, sink and upholstery would this be somewhere realistic?

Been looking at buying a camper for a while and this layout may suit. What would worst case scenario be for something like this? This was for sale a few months ago on donedeal. Not sure if it was the same seller at the time.

For €5800 you should find one with a DOE.

If its not the same seller then alarm bells immediately ring.

If it is the same seller still alarm bells its probably uneconomical to repair.

Worse case scenario major structural rust, inner outer sills, rusty brake lines, seized calipers, rotten bushings, bad shocks, bad springs, bad gearbox, bad injectors, head gasket etc. etc. ad nauseam.

Plus those look like caravan windows fair chance theres no marking on them and they could fail.

Sounds like one that doesn't need welding would be a better deal.

Thanks for the replies. Yep way too many unknowns for a first camper purchase!

This is the price of reliability.
I wouldn't do it for Iveco!
