Irish are biggest transphobes in EU

The Irish Council of Civil Liberties did a survey which found that Irish are the biggest transphobes & racists in the EU.
So I wanted to ask members on here if you find that it is true, that Irish people are treating not only Trans people but all members of the LGBTQ community badly or is it more to do with our 'new' Irish?
As a poster on another thread stated they got more abuse from minorities. Not trying to excuse Irish people but I feel that NGO's like ICCL are using the LGBTQ so they can get 'hate crimes' put into legislation so that it will stop people questioning immigration, thus being able to freely bring in many more people from countries less accepting of LGBTQ. For me I think everyone should be allowed to live freely & be looked after by the state if you are a legal citizen.
    Whats your thoughts?
By the way I'm a straight guy so sorry if I use wrong words to describe people, not trying to offend just kinda interested in discussing

    Go troll somewhere else

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
