Was in albania a few weeks ago and just about 60e of leks in my bag. Its a closed/restricted currency so can't change it in the bank.
Any suggestions on how to get it changed to euros? Don't know any albanians and doubt I'll be back there any time soon (despite enjoying it)
    Cheers!

How much is it worth, 50c or something? Forget it.

Edit, do you mean you have €60 worth of leks? I read it first as 60 leks!

I still have no answer though.

There look to be some Facebook pages for the Albanian community in Ireland.
Might be worth a shot if you're stuck for cash.

I doubt any of the money change places will want to know.
Aside from that they all have terrible exchange rates\ charges.

Why not hang on to it, make art with it, give some as a gift to friends.

Did you enjoy Albania OP can I ask.

I was there 5 or 6 years ago.
    Tirana, berat and saranda only.

Not an in-depth investigation of the country or anything like that.
I knew something of the story of the country beforehand and a bit more after my visit.

    I enjoyed my visit.
