Valtan / Valsartan contamination.

Hi

Im on Valtan pils for years.

I just read an article thatin my home country that they stop selling Valsartan (Valtan) due to some kind of contamination on Chinese manufacture.

It wasn't detected by test but Chinese company (http://en.huahaipharm.com/content.asp?info_kind=001002) notified that contamination occurred.

I can't find any info on google ( to vague).

Where I could look into it ?

It's on the Rte site. Keep taking it.

I'v to pick up some tomorrow so I'll let you know what the pharmacy says.

Your pharmacy may have to send you to your GP as there is now no Valsartan available, either brand or generic.
Your GP may suggest another "sartan" such as Olmesartan or Candesartan or Losartan.
