will my galaxy s8 work for 4g in the usa? i see that there is different variations of the handset and some people have had issue with other handsets. others have said there is different versions of 4g/lte in the states?

i'll have my own sim with me and may or may not buy a local sim (my phone is unlocked!). i know the price will be crazy which is fine.

my phone is model number sm-g950f if that helps.

    thanks

Itll work but you won't have 4G while roaming so you'd have to get a local SIM and that means on the GSM networks (AT&T or TMob).

Im almost sure i had 4G, atleast i didnt have a problem with speed. Was roaming with Vodafone, think on my plan it was €2.99/day to use your phone just like at home.

    On an s8 too
