If we were to employ a childminder in the home at minimum wage, say, how much would that cost? with PRSI etc?

    Thanks.

    how many hours a week?

How much is that? We were looking at 30 hours/week.

The living wage is 11.50. not sure why you'd suggest giving that.

Not sure it'd be worth it OP, unless you have decent paying jobs.

You won't get a qualified child minder for minimum wage. You'll have to offer a little more than that. Around 11 euro an hour is about as cheap as you will get for qualified.

A qualified child minder will have done regular first aid training & certs to back this up. They also will have an educational curriculum & have activities mapped out for each of the children.
