I have a theatre company and one of our activities is that we perform plays in the care setting i.e nursing homes, intellectual disability centres, day centres, psychiatric hospitals. The plays are interactive, comic, musical where the audience can take part, if they want to. A vacancy has opened up and we normally employ actors who can sing/play but we'd like to widen the net and look at musicians/singers who can act, or who want to give it a go. It is mostly Dublin based, daytime work. It is paid, but not full time - we might have a few per month but in May and December, however, it can be very busy.
