Hello, I'm thinking of going back to repeat my LC as I did pretty poorly. I have heard most schools are fee paying but there are a few that aren't. I live near Blackrock/Dun Laoghaire so I was wondering what do you think might be a few options available for me.

Dun Laoghaire College of Further Education has a repeat course. But you're not going to get it for free pretty much anywhere.

How do you know you did badly? I got 100 points more than I expected.

Most are not expensive, it's just the very expensive ones make most noise.
There is a repeat Leaving Cert fee you will have to pay everywhere.

Have you looked at a PLC entry route to the course you want?

As mentioned, for repeat LC, there is DLCFE, also Ringsend College and Rathmines College and others.
None of the ETB colleges will fleece you as they are not businesses.

I did my LC in 2017. I got only 20 points.

    Oh right, that's pretty dire.

Well I think it's clear that there are options but none of them are free.
