Can't delete from USB

    I tried to format too but it won't do it either.
    The disk is write protected comes up.
    Anyone know what to do?

    Was it a promo stick containing product data and/or a program that runs a demo? If so, it may be permanently (factory setting) write-protected.

    If you bought in a shop, it might have a write-protect sliding switch like most SD memory cards.

    had this happen to me recently and nothing would work as it had become corrupted and unusable
