Hi All.

I'm moving into a new house soon and want to install a fire escape ladder. I'm going with the ladder in the link below. There's two things I was wondering about:

1. What is the average windowsill width in this country, the max for the ladder is 330mm which doesn't seem very wide.
2. If the sill is too wide, I was planning on putting 2 eye rawlbolts in the sill to connect the ladder with carabiners. Am I likely to run into issues with rebar in the sill, and do you think it would support the weight?
