Looking for online accountancy software/service

    Hi

    I am scouting for online software/service for a small IT company that will help with cash flow, payroll and invoices.

    There are a few, for example, Sage One, SortMyBooks etc, but I am curious which of the available services are highly recommended (as in tried-and-tested).

    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Cheers!

    There have been a good few threads about this over the last few years. My experience would be;

    Sage one - avoid like the plague. Reports are terrible and more tailored to UK. One thing going for it would be that they have payroll in the cloud.
    Xero- ok but not designed specifically for Irish market. No support as far as I can see. No payroll.
    Surf accounts. Irish made and good support. Is a bit pricey IMO but is similar to other products. I have heard that are in the process of rolling out a payroll package on the cloud
    Sort my books - looked at it once or twice and looks ok but never used it. Would be wary of a free package
