Marlay Park Concert Question

So we're going to Queen next weekend at Marlay Park. Back in the states, if it was a giant park like Marlay that was hosting the concert, I'd expect a bunch of people standing tight up front (as ya do!) but then towards the rear it'd just be fields of blankets and people relaxing listening to the music.

How does it work at Marlay? If we bring a blanket are we fooling ourselves?

No, but depending on location of bars/toilets you could end up having people stumbling over you.

It's not a natural amphitheatre (or wasn't a few years ago, not sure if stage has moved) so you'll end up standing if you want to see anything.

I don't think there is much in the way of support acts so to be honest I wouldn't bother with the blanket.

Kinda what I thought, but wanted to be sure. :-)

    Thanks!
