I would appreciate if someone could post the link to for example the bbc site for the story (I’m having issues linking on my device) but a girl has been killed after a bouncy castle exploded on a beach in England.

As a father this really hits home as it shows how even mundane things can end in tragedy. There was another death a few years back when the bouncy castle tumbled away in high winds killing another wee girl. (The operators were jailed recently I believe)

How would a bouncy castle explode anyway? I really sympathise with the parents. Taking your kids to the beach to enjoy a day out and that happening is horrific.

    theres a bbc link...
A child has died after being thrown from a bouncy castle that eyewitnesses say exploded on a Norfolk beach.

The girl was thrown from the inflatable at Gorleston beach at about 11:00 BST and paramedics took her to James Paget Hospital, but she died of her injuries.

The inflatable was on Lower Esplanade in the children's play area.

Eyewitnesses said it "exploded" and the child was thrown into the air.
not much explanation for it exploding

Think there was a girl killed in Waterford on her communion day a few years ago after falling off one.

So sad. Bouncy castles are such joyful things for children normally. :(
