    Hey lads,

I'm moving to Cork in the next few weeks for a position in Blackpool.

I'm wondering if there are any areas I should be avoiding?

At the moment I'm thinking of walking distance locations like Farranree, Ballyvolane and around the Blackpool area.

    Thanks!

as a native of cork and living not far from those places, the only place id move to out of those 3 would be ballyvolane

Look at the city centre, too.
Blackpool is only 10 minutes walk from the North side of the centre.
    Pope's Quay, Shandon area etc.
Also look at Blackpool itself and anywhere between there and town.
Depending on what you want, I'd much rather be on the city side rather than in a suburb.
