Invitation to participate in in dissertation interview

Hi All,

I am a part time student studying an MBA in Finance. As part of my master’s degree I am required to write a dissertation. I have chosen to study the role of Robo-Advisors in the Portfolio Management environment. So I will be focusing on the impact that robo-advisors is having on the industry, if traditional portfolio managers see robo-advisors as a threat, the performance of robo-advisors vs a traditional methods etc.

As part of the dissertation, I am required to conduct a number of interviews to gain a further insight into this topic. I searching for candidates that have any experience with portfolio management, financial advisory, wealth management, robo-advisors etc. that would be willing to have a casual chat for my dissertation, even if its from the outside looking in. If anybody even has any experience either providing advice, constructing a portfolio or using a robo-advisors that would be ideal.

I am still at the initial stages of the dissertation and so will not be speaking to people for a number of weeks. I hope to start some interviews around mid-July. The interviews will be very informal, they are more like a casual chat and will only take around 20/30 minutes. I will have a list of generic questions that I’ll ask each candidate. The goal is to simply capture your thoughts and perspectives on the topic based off your own experience.

I would be very appreciative if any of you can participate or know someone willing to participate. I will also do my best to accommodate time that suits you best.

Alternatively, looking at investors that would be willing to participate...I could structure the interview based off your thoughts of going to a human advisor vs an computerised advisor.
