Carpooling? Too pride, carpooling sites safe?

    Hi! Atm rn I can't afford public transport and would love too go too dublin pride tommrow, and rn I'm looking at and posted some stuff too carpooling irish sites I doubt I'll get an answer by now but are these sites safe, have you any experience with them?; a friend of a friend who I know who is lgbt activist offered too pay for the bus tickets for me but I feel kinda bad don't generally want too that.
    I'm going from galway too dublin and back btw if anyone knows any carpools or anything,.

    I'm not aware of any Irish carpooling sites but for a journey of that length it would be the done thing to kick in for petrol money so if you can't afford to do that, you might be better off accepting your friend's offer of a bus ticket.

    Yes, I was hoping split costs for petrol might be cheaper than buses/ would be able and willing too pay for it if it is, the carpooling sites were carpoolworld.ie and gethere.ie shareyourride.ie

    One of the other reasons I didn't really wanna use bus was cuz I'm physically disabled it takes alot of enegry using buses

    Very few people use carpooling sites in Ireland for any purpose so it would be next to impossible to judge their safety.
