Depends where you live. Indoor may or may not work.

Checked the searview page and I am 22km from the transmitter. I am in D15.

22Km not sure. Worth trying a cheap 2€ shop one.

You might be lucky ..... or you might get a signal next to a window ....... or you might get nothing at all.

BTW, it is Saorview not searview ;)

First time I think to see it spelt here as 'Searview'

Though its has quite often been seen spelt as 'Soarview', including in newspaper ads from retailers etc.

Some Cello remote controls also have a button incorrectly spelt as Soarview.

Hi Al, I try to find the answer to my question. I got a new TV and wonder how to get channels  (searview or freeview) with no cables. I mean are there any aerlias that work wireless or could I use indoor aerial indoor and have behind TV?

    http://www.currys.ie/Mobile/Product/one-for-all-sv-9215-flat-indoor-tv-aerial/319558/397.1.4

With above aerial will I get any channels?
You spent loads of money on a new TV. Why spoil it for the sake of a proper aerial on the roof?

I can not stand any cables and do not watch enough to justify VM or sky.

Then you are out of luck because the TV needs both a power cable and an aerial cable to function!

Return the TV and you will not have "any cables".
