Have you ever returned to a job after handing in your notice?

Hi all, just wanted to go unreg. for this post.

Just looking for some opinions, of sorts.

Has anyone ever returned to a job after informally handing in their resignation?

Specifically, say if they left due to bullying, or unfair treatment by a particular colleague, but since, this colleague has left the business? Obviously returning after being asked to return by management themselves?

Is it ever a good idea to return to work for a former employer?

Or is it best to leave the door firmly closed in that regard?

    Thank you.
