SMS to 53104 on prepay

Hello, I have a prepay sim with Eir and am trying to enter a competition on the radio (to the number 53140) however I cannot text the number. Is there a restriction on prepay accounts from sending sms to these types of number?

Competitions usually charge you a premium fee to send such SMS (e.g. €2)

You have to make sure you have enough prepay credit to send SMS. "Free text to any network" plans do not cover such messages.
