    The door surround, firstly whats it called, "Door surround" ?

    where can I get them, not that one specifically but anything like it? current one is wood and is rotting.

    A local joinery shop would make one up in hard wood. There is plastic/fibreglass ones available there's a few 70s/80s estates around Celbridge with them around the front door.
    The timber ones as are the real deal though.
    But yeah there's no other word for it I think the masonry dressing around doors are referred to as a Gibbs Surround after the british architect James Gibbs.
