Filling in an application for an age card, I've signed the application already, the ma says "do you not have to sign in front of them?"

    Is she right?

(Haven't a clue where to post this so this seemed to fit most)

It is supposed to be signed in front of a Garda but they will usually accept it. Don't forget to bring the two forms of ID with you to the station.

Cheers, I hope they do. The form could make it clearer. All it has, from what I can see, is the "sign form" bulletpoint after the "present to Garda station" one. No "must be signed in the presence of a member of An Garda Síochána". Oh well.
