DIY wodden fence screen

Hi all
I was going to build a wooden screen. My question is
Should I use rough treated timber or planed timber and stain it myself.

I was initially thinking of getting treated rough timber, giving it a quick sand and a quick.rub of stain but would I get a better finish look going for planed wood and treating that

It's for my small back.garden and it a decorative screen to cover block.work. thanks

Planed timber will look infinitely better.

There is a lot of work involved in making a wooden screen, cutting planing , assembling


It might be quicker to use these
