    Hi there folks,
I have been wearing reading /vdu glasses the last while and starting to feel eye strain in the evenings.

I have made an appointment with specsavers for a few days time.
I think i may need regular glasses as well as the readers.

Laser surgery is not an option at this time.

I might end up with varifocals, do they work ok for people?,i have heard mixed reviews about them.
I suppose the other option is 2 pairs of glasses.
    Any other suggestions??

    Thanks you.

Newer varifocals are great. Much easier to get used to, not as many problems as previous. I would advise going for a fairly good quality varifocal though, put a bit of extra money towards the lens quality. In general people find them great and would never think about going back to separate pairs.
