I'm not objecting to the noise/music but I'm just curious where its coming from.

Sounds like its a live band either performing a show or practising, could also be neighbour playing recorded live music.

Seems to be coming from the south from Dublin city.

Anybody know anything, seemed to start about an hour ago about 15:00

Might be The Killer's sound checking in the RDS.

My thoughts exactly. I live closer to the RDS and could hear Picture This as clear as day over the weekend.

I could hear it in Grangegorman, way too loud.

Same volume as every show. Way too air pressure and prevailing wind.

Would that make it louder if you're right next door or does it just help the music travel?

Exactly the same volume at the location. I’m in Firhouse, and over the years the only major outdoor venue in Dublin I haven’t heard from over the years is Croke Park.

I'm in Ranelagh and it's doing my head in. Feel sorry for residents around the RDS, must be insufferable [/old man].

I can hear it in Crumlin and I've never heard an RDS concert before. Wonder if it's the weather?

I'm not far from you. What did you think of 'Whole of The Moon'?

I could hear it in Clontarf there earlier too and it was quite loud there. At least I'm assuming it was the same source.
