Mixer Tap problem

Replaced the aerator on the kitchen mixer tap today. had to take out the spout to get old aerator out. When I put everything back together the cold seem to be pushing back the hot water and not mixing. I have tried the remove any airlock by blocking the spout and turning on the hot and then the cold but not results. Hot…

Hot seem to have alright pressure, never was good.

Any ideas.
