Our cows have lepto and we vaccinate them with Leptovoid H every year. When we are buying a bull does he need to be vaccinated for lepto or can we put him with the cows without being vaccinated? We heard that a bull could go infertile if put with cows that have lepto is that true? Thanks

Always took it as a given that bull gets same vaccines as cow's .
Lepto can knock a cow's health/ production rapidly so a bull's wouldnt be any different I presume.

I noticed 2 different lepto vaccines, leptavoid h and spirovac. Spirovac is about a tenner cheaper for the same volume . If they have the same active ingredients why such a price difference I wonder

Is it really such a price difference, big difference in a tenner at €20 or a tenner at €100.

At €100 the tenner is probably nothing to do with the ingredients.
You could also find the tenner difference pricing around.

It might also be which is the original and which is the generic. A bit of a premium for the brand.

Leptovioid was there first so spirovac is trying to gain market share

Leptovoid was hard got last year when I was vaccinating so I used spirovac. All went in calf first service. No issues with it
