I am looking for a Free PC monitoring software (Windows) to log all activities on a computer. I would like it to be invisible so that kids wont close it. Just want to monitor my kids online activities. Some thing like a windows spy software that would log keystrokes as well.

Can anyone suggest a good freeware (or something cheap) please.

    Hi Op

Its a great idea to keep an eye on your kids activity to ensure they are safe. However your post raises some red flags for me.

Being proactive is what i would recommend. speak with them help them identify when something isn't right, and know they can talk to you. Obvious overt messages like "this website is blocked" will help too.

Covert surveillance to a key stroke logging level - as suggested, is not keeping them safe, its controlling someone and intruding on their privacy.

my recommendation is to use the OS level controls over time spend online, how late they can be online etc. you can use this to block games that you think are too mature etc.

then look at either something like https://www.zoodles.com/#/ and use in combination with open dns family shield. https://www.opendns.com/home-internet-security/

50 dollars for a lifetime license is actually pretty good.

However here's a list of free alternatives
