Slowing down oiler on a Lely 245

Since purchasing the baler 2 seasons ago I noted how much oil it uses on the chain. During a full days baling it can use up to 5 liters which is costly and there is a dangerous build up of dust, dry grass and oil which is a dangerous combination during a hot day baling.
My question is does anyone have any idea how to slow down the oiler? The amount of oil applied to the chains varies on the speed of the baler. A small shaft comes off one of the rollers and goes onto the side of the pump. Any ideas are greatly appreciated :D

At the moment I'm blowing out the baler every morning with the compressor and we bring the leaf blower on the tractor to blow it off during the day takes only a few mins after each farm

Can the brushes be adjusted away from chain/altered to slow the flow

But surly 1 snapped chain/breakdown would cover the cost of any extra oil used over course of a year??

I’ll try a heavier oil first. A full tank of oil roughly 3L does about 260-280 bales. It’s blown out each evening with a leaf blower. Ours in grease banks not an auto greaser
