Hi, can anyone explain why I get no signal whatsoever on 1 Sky channel only. I get message "no satellite signal". When I check for signal strength I see signal intensity and signal quality zero. All other channels strong. Sky+HD box. The channel is 376 keep it country. Thanks.

I could be wrong but I think that channel may have moved to a different slot on the EPG. The guys in the satellite forum would know. I can move your thread there if you wish

It's on a very weak transponder 11082 H along with 13 other channels. 9.3 dB on my 1.1 m dish. Anything under 8 dB is too weak. Strong transponders give 20 dB.

You could be missing other channels. There are hundreds of them, and unless you did a full scan, you could not know whether they are all coming in on your dish.

Thanks dx. That must be the reason.

I just checked ch. 376 and some others on that transponder in my daughter's house couple of hundred yards up the road. She has same setup as me and they are coming in quite strong. Could it be dish/lnb/or cable problem do you think? Thanks again for your help.

Dish may not be perfectly aligned. Signal looks good on the default transponder it's checking. Could be an LNB issue also.
