How do you calculate liveweight of an animal, from the factory deadweigh-what percentage, etc? had an 9yr pb angus cow factoried last week-killed out at 410kg deadweight.. so what weight would she have been live like?

Had a CH cow here last year, she was 775 kgs liveweight, killed out at 391 kgs so 50% killout.

Ya have to take about 10% of the weight away if you're weighing them straight out of the field....very unreliable with gut fill etc,you have to have them standing all day to get a proper weight
