    Do smartphones (Android, etc.) come included with a micro SD card? Will I need to buy a SD card separately for my phone?

    Depends on where you buy it and who the manufacturer is.

    I've gotten (small) SD cards with some phones before.

    I'd guess that was a while back... haven't seen any phones in the last 5 years come with one.

    Surely if your phone is 32GB or 64GB you won't need a microSD card unless you were going to put a lot of storage on the phone.
    Most of my storage nowadays is in the Cloud.

    Unfortunately my phone is an 8GB, so am looking for a SD card with a good memory just in case phone memory runs out at some stage.

    I have the Samsung Galaxy J3, is there any recommended SD card (memory wise) for this phone?

    My phone is has an 8GB internal phone memory.
